Collections

Three woods. One philosophy.

Each collection is built around a single hardwood, milled to expose the end grain — the kindest surface for a knife edge.

The Craft

Seventy-two hours, four pairs of hands, one block of wood.

Every Maison Grain board begins as kiln-dried American hardwood, cross-cut and re-glued so the fibers stand upright — what bakers call butcher block. The surface accepts the blade and closes behind it. The knife stays sharp. The board, in return, lasts decades.
